We thought it’d be a blog-worthy enterprise to chronicle a brand development exercise we’re currently going through with one of our newer clients. Basically we’ll be walking you through the branding process “real-time,†starting at ground zero: the development of an icon which will subsequently be used in a logo.
SCAD’s broadcast design department, along with some very cool sponsors, are hosting a one day symposium at the Lucas Theater on February 16th. Inspire07’s geared towards inspiring creativity in motion graphics by showcasing high quality work and giving us motion graphics addicts exposure to the artists who create the work we drool over.
One of the most integral stages of any design process is research. Which is why, even though I consider myself to be relatively tech-savvy, the decision to attend the Blog Savannah Un-con this past weekend before launching our own blog was a wise one. I thought I knew what blogging was, and through the discussions (and disagreements) of those 1.5 days, I realized just how much my conclusions were based on impressions rather than fact.
After much hemming and hawing, Drew, Phil and I have finally gotten this show on the road.
We’ve been talking about getting this blog going for a while, and the BlogSavannah Un-Conference ‘07 is what finally tipped the scale. I think the three of us were motivated through meeting so many interesting folks, and of course, we learned a fair amount as well.
