We Wanna Give a “Shout Out”

Posted by Angel Ratcliffe

No… Not a shout out to the the third-graders at Gladys Wood Elementary School, but to our BFF’s, Rapid Press. They produce our high-quality print projects, and have always done an excellent job of doing so. Their esteemed work has earned them a myriad of awards, including several from The Printing Association of Florida.

In this year’s 21st Annual Florida Print Awards, Rapid Press brought home 4 Best of Category Awards, 2 Awards of Excellence, and 4 Judges Awards! We were also very excited when they told us that four of those awards were for pieces we designed for our clients: The Savannah Economic Development Authority’s Thanksgiving Pie Card, the Handy How-to Guide for Sittin’ Pretty in Savannah, and their Corporate Collateral, along with Hourglass Weightloss & Fitness for their Presentation Kit.

Now that’s what I call award-winning collaboration! Congratulations, Rapid Press, on your wins and many thanks from the Paragon Team and on behalf of our clients for always delivering us a print-job well done!

Greenwashing Webinar Recap

Posted by Andrew Davies

Yesterday, design and print resource, PaperSpecs put on a great webinar called Greenwashing: Wringing Out the Truth. Presenter Scot Case of TerraChoice Environmental marketing Inc. outlined the 6 sins of Greenwasing while giving a brief summary of the greening movement as it pertains to consumer choices and subsequently designers’ paper choices.

I’ve attached the handout (with my notes in red) from the session so hopefully you’ll find something useful there.
