God Bless Horatio Caine
Around here, we have a deep and abiding love/respect/admiration for the TV show CSI:Miami, not because of the action, crime solving techniques or orangey-blue glow of every scene, but because of the sweet genius that is every word that falls from the lips of David Caruso’s character, Horatio Caine.
Horatio is a man, nay a legend, who can take an situation and sum it up in one sentence while putting on his sun-glasses and exiting stage right. He has also been know to strike some fantastic poses that I am embarrassed to admit, we’ve intentionally emulated around the office from time to time. We’ve considered collecting this man’s pearls of wisdom and editing them together ourselves, however we came across this video on YouTube posted by stewmurray47.
Behold “CSI Miami - Endless Caruso One Liners”
Oh…and in case you needed one more hit, there is also this jewel posted by jhohcable; “David Caruso parks his car”. I swear this happens to me every single morning…

I’m glad I’m not the only one who appreciates how fantabulous Horatio Caine is. No matter how dangerous the situation, how brutal the crime, he keeps that cooler than life, barry white voice, monotone, i’m a stick demeanour about him with the slide on of wal-mart of sunglasses, a carefully positioned overexposed rim light, and orange and blue color gels that over saturate what would otherwise be a boring and sad scene of death.

Now all that needs to happen is Chuck Norris appearing as a guest star CSI on the show. I don’t know if television can handle that though….i couldn’t.

I feel you on this post - is it wrong that we named our big house plant Horatio because we watch so much CSI?

This guy is pure ham. In real life he would need a shrink.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with naming your CHILDREN after this great man.
BTW… there really is something beautiful and touching about a big house plant named Horatio.

Horatio IS the coolest, most spohisticated cat there is! He knows how to handle any situation with finess and ease. His personality and demeanor are unparalleled!!

I used to think that Horatio was awesome. Now I realize that David Caruso cannot act. Oh wait, he can- just really, really, badly.
